WhyWorry is a spatial design studio founded by Olivier Caluwier, built on the principle of purposeful simplicity. The name is inspired by Then Why Worry, a mindset shared by Gaur Gopal Das: “If you can do something about a problem, do it. If you can’t, why worry?” It’s a way of thinking that shapes how I live and how I design. You can’t solve problems without control — so I choose to stay in control. I design spaces and objects reduced to their essence. Built to last. Made to matter.

Before WhyWorry, I founded the award-winning studio 5AM in 2011. With WhyWorry, I return to a one-person studio model, lean, hands-on, and fully in control from first sketch to final build. Then
